Frequently asked questions
How this site works, where the links go, and why we do things the way we do.
Do you sell T-shirts?
No. Christian T-Shirts is an independent guide. We collect popular Christian slogans and verses, explain what they mean, and link to searches on Amazon.co.uk, where the shirts are sold by Amazon and other sellers. Your order, delivery and any returns are handled on Amazon, not by us.
Why don't you show photos or prices of the shirts?
Product photos belong to the sellers, and prices change all the time, so we don't copy either. Instead we draw our own illustration of each slogan — a T-shirt in one colour with the words in one of our fonts — so you can picture it. The real designs on Amazon.co.uk vary a lot, so always look at the listing photos and price before you buy.
Which Bible translation do you quote?
We quote the World English Bible British Edition (WEBBE), a modern English translation that its publishers have placed in the public domain. Many shirts quote other translations, so the wording on a design may differ from the text on our pages. See our scripture index for every verse we use.
Why not the King James Version or the NIV?
In the United Kingdom the King James (Authorised) Version is covered by Crown rights, and most modern translations such as the NIV are protected by copyright with their own permission rules. The World English Bible lets us quote whole verses freely, so we use it throughout.
How do you choose the slogans?
We include slogans and verses that are widely used on Christian T-shirts. For many of them we checked that a search on Amazon.co.uk really returns relevant shirts — those collection pages show the date we checked. We left out slogans whose searches returned nothing relevant. Search results change constantly, so you may see different shirts from the ones we saw.
Why do some Amazon searches show shirts that aren't Christian?
The results are Amazon's, not ours, and they include sponsored listings and loosely matching products. We add words like "christian" or a verse reference to our searches to keep them on topic, but it's always worth checking a design before you buy.
Do you earn money from the links?
Yes, sometimes. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases made after you follow one of our links. It doesn't change the price you pay. Our affiliate disclosure explains more.
Which size should I order?
Sizes vary between brands, so compare measurements rather than labels. Our sizing and fit guide explains how to measure yourself or a shirt that already fits, and what to look for in a size chart.
Can you help me order shirts for our church group?
We don't take orders, but our guide to ordering matching shirts for your church group covers choosing a design, collecting sizes, timings and copyright.
Are you linked to a particular church or denomination?
No. We're independent and not affiliated with any church, denomination, charity, brand or seller. We aim to be welcoming to Christians of every tradition, and respectful of people of all faiths and none.
Can I suggest a slogan or report a problem?
Yes please — email us at the address on our contact page. If a link has stopped working or a search no longer returns relevant shirts, we'd like to know.
